Office of Student Services
The Office of Student Services maintains student
records and acts as a central resource to assist students with
questions regarding student life at the University. The office is
responsible for student registration, College of Nursing
commencement programs, applications for placement records,
guidance to the student advisory councils, and the Kentucky
Association of Nursing students, programs for special students,
and supplying students with current literature and announcements
that may be of interest within the College. The office actively
communicates with other student personnel offices on campus to
keep nursing students, faculty, and staff up to date on University
activities and programs. Office hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. The phone number is
(859) 323-5108 and the office is located in room 309.
A student affairs officer is available to work with you on-site in
Lexington. A copy of your records will be kept in the
Lexington office, beginning with the application process. If you
have any questions concerning your records, contact
our Student Services staff at
(859) 323-5108.
The University Registrar's office can provide official transcripts
after you graduate.
Often the record keeping function causes confusion for graduate
students because two different offices are involved. The Graduate
School is your official college, even though you are pursuing a
degree in nursing. M.S.N. and Ph.D. students are admitted as
students of the Graduate School with a major in nursing.
