Parking

All students must have a valid UK parking permit to be authorized to park on campus.  As a result, you will need to decide which permit you are eligible to receive and submit your completed application to Parking Services by the deadlines indicated.  See http://www.uky.edu/Parking/stuapp-info.htm  or call (859) 257-5757. 

Please note that parking is at a premium on campus and that there are limited quantities of most permit types.  If you do not meet all eligibility requirements listed for your requested permit, if you apply late, or if the allotment for your requested permit has already been issued, you may not get your first permit choice. 

Most graduate students will purchase the Evening permit or the Stadium Permit ("K" permit).  Medical Center students can ride the UK Hospital Medical Center Shuttle to the hospital provided they have their UK Medical Center Student ID badge visible.  Also, students can ride free of charge to and from Commonwealth Stadium, residence halls, and main campus. Just catch any LexTran Campus shuttle bus or any CATS bus. Call 257-RIDE for schedules or pick up a copy at Parking Services.  

Students are not permitted to park in the Kentucky Clinic parking structure during controlled hours, Monday – Friday, as this structure is for patient parking.  This lot is not controlled on Saturday or Sundays. Students may use this structure on Saturdays and Sundays.
