Emergency Funds

The College of Nursing Alumni Association administers a student emergency loan fund. In 1982 this fund was renamed the Claudine Gartner Loan Fund in memory of Claudine Gartner, a longtime College of Nursing faculty member. The purpose of this fund is to assist students in emergency financial situations when other sources of financial assistance are not available. In order to maintain the fund the recipient is expected to sign a note of repayment.

The Graduate Student Admission and Progression Committee of the College makes recommendations for loans. For more information or application for funds, inquiries should be directed to:
