Academic Probation

College Nursing graduate students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 graduate grade point average. If a student's cumulative graduate GPA drops below a 3.0, the student will be placed on academic probation. A student on academic probation will have 9 credit hours to raise the GPA to a 3.0 or better. If the GPA is still below a 3.0, the student will be dismissed from the program. The same policies apply to D.N.P. students. Exceptions related to D.N.P. students are made by the dean of the College of Nursing.
