Sexual Harassment
An online training program, titled "Preventing
Sexual Harassment," is available to all employees and students
of the University of Kentucky.
The program was introduced to UK by the Equal
Opportunity Office and the President's Commission on Women in
coordination with the UK Office of Human Resource Development.
The University of Kentucky is committed to maintaining a working
and learning environment free of all forms of discrimination,
including sexual harassment. This online tool provides
information every member of the university community should read
and understand.
The interactive course defines sexual harassment in accordance
with state and federal law and UK policy. It illustrates what
constitutes inappropriate or impermissible conduct and offers
procedures for seeking
help.
The president expects all faculty, staff and students to benefit
from this training.
Additional information about the "Preventing Sexual Harassment"
training will be communicated to you through the college deans
and unit directors. The training program can be accessed at
