Office of Student Services (Room 309)

The Office of Student Services maintains student records and acts as a central resource to assist students with questions regarding student life at the University. The office is responsible for student registration, College of Nursing commencement programs, applications for placement records, guidance to the student advisory councils, and the Kentucky Association of Nursing students, programs for special students, and supplying students with current literature and announcements that may be of interest within the College. The office actively communicates with other student personnel offices on campus to keep nursing students, faculty, and staff up to date on University activities and programs. Office hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The phone number is
(859) 323-5108.

A student affairs officer is available to work with you on-site in Lexington and Morehead. A copy of your records will be kept in the Lexington office, beginning with your application process. If you have any questions concerning your records, contact any member of our Student Services staff at
(859) 323-5108.

After you graduate, we will maintain your record under "alumni files" in this Office. However, when you need official transcripts and documents, you should call the University Registrar's office. Our files are not the official University records.

Often the record keeping function causes confusion for graduate students because two different offices are involved. The Graduate School is your official college, even though you are pursuing a degree in nursing. It will help you to remember that you begin your procedures in the College of Nursing, but your completion will occur in the Graduate School.
