Nurse Faculty Loan Program

The College of Nursing applies each year for loan funds from the Nurse Faculty Loan Program of the Division of Nursing, Department of Health and Human Services. This loan fund is intended to bolster the number of nurses prepared as nurse faculty for schools of nursing. Students must be enrolled full-time and take three additional courses (5 credit hours total) to prepare you for the faculty role (GS 600, GS 650, and GS 699). Up to 85% of the loan may be forgiven in return for service as a faculty member in a school of nursing.
