Transfer of Credits (M.S.N. only)

With the approval of your faculty advisor, the assistant dean for advanced practice nursing, and the dean of the Graduate School, a maximum of 9 semester hours of graduate course credits may be transferred from another institution toward the requirements for the master's degree (see Graduate School Bulletin). The request for transfer is to be made prior to advanced registration in your first semester of enrollment.

You must initiate the request for transfer of credit through your advisor. To transfer credits, you must submit a course syllabus and official transcript to your faculty advisor. If your faculty advisor judges the transfer of credits to be appropriate to the planned program of study, the faculty advisor requests in writing that the assistant dean approve the transfer of credits. If approved, the assistant dean submits the request and copy of the official transcript to the dean of the Graduate School. The transferal of credits should be included in your program of study plan approved by your faculty advisor.
