Graduate Student Room and Computer Room

The Graduate Student Room is located in room 501 of the College. This room is intended for use as a study and student meeting area. Also located in this area is a small computer room for use by graduate students of our College only. The computer software on these machines includes Netscape, WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, SAS for the PC, SPSS for the PC, and NVivo (for qualitative data analysis).

Located in the computer room are the offices of Brenda Ghaelian, manager of information technology for the College and Ben Nicholls, the LAN administrator and primary provider of computer support for faculty and staff in the College. Brenda assists faculty with the use of information technologies in the teaching environment and provides training and user support for faculty. Ben is responsible for the College's hardware, network, and software applications. He also maintains the hardware and software in the computer room. Problems with hardware or software on these computers should be called to his attention via e-mail.
