Certification

Graduates of the master's degree program are eligible to take certification examinations in specialized areas of advanced nursing practice. Only students who have completed all the requirements for the master's degree are approved to sit for these examinations. Information about nationally recognized certification exams and those for which individual students are eligible is available in the Office of Advanced Practice Nursing, room 202. The assistant dean for advanced practice nursing is the person responsible for signing your eligibility form verifying that you have completed the required courses in the program of study.
