Description:
This comprehensive diabetes workshop will provide a review of
diabetes care to update practice and will assist health care
providers to review or become diabetes educators.
Objectives:

the pathophysiology of diabetes

complete educational assessment

Describe
treatment and intervention for patients with diabetes

Develop
teaching tools and techniques for positive learning
outcomes

Describe
teaching for people with diabetes throughout the lifespan
Target audience: Health care providers who wish to update their knowledge of
diabetes education and practice and those who are preparing for
the CDE exam. CE credit is offered for nurses, dieticians, and
social workers.
