Meeting Location and Time

The Skeletal Muscle Symposium will be held in the Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the The Lexington Downtown Hotel & Conference Center , 369 W. Vine Street, Lexington KY 40507. The phone number for the Hotel is (859)231-9000.

The Symposium will start at 8:30am Thursday October 30th and the sessions will run until 4:30pm. We will break for dinner and the poster session will run from 7:00pm until 10:00pm. Friday October 31st the Symposium will start at 8:30 am and finish promptly at noon.

Parking: There a parking garage at the hotel and a few public parking garages around the Lexington downtown area.

Airport: The Bluegrass Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from downtown and the hotel does provide free shuttle service to and from the airport.

Poster Information

If you will be bringing a poster please submit an abstract by October 1, 2008 via the Symposium web site:

Requirements for the poster:
Include your name, title, institution, and contact information on abstracts Limit the text of the abstract to 250 words; Arial 11 font size

All posters need to accommodate a board size of 5 feet high x 4 feet wide.
All abstracts will be collated and made into a booklet to be provided to all attendees.
Posters can be put up either in the morning during the registration time (8-8:30 am) or at the lunch break. The poster session will run from 5:30-7:30pm and a cash bar will be available. All posters need to be removed following the symposium (Friday by 10am).
