ERIN WALSH
Erin Walsh received
undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from the University
of Arizona in 2003. She is currently a doctoral student in Clinical
Psychology at UK examining the mechanisms and effects of mindfulness-based
practices (e.g. meditation, yoga) and trait mindfulness. Erin is
completing her M.S. under the supervision of Ruth Baer, Ph.D. She is
examining how particular ways of emotional responding (acceptance vs.
avoidance) influence psychological and physiological states. Erin also
works as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Behavioral
Science, under the supervision of Yang Jiang, Ph.D., investigating the
bio-behavioral effects of aging.
