I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology.  I am also a faculty affiliate at UK's Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy Center and the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging.  I have active research collaborations with a number of scientists at each of these centers.

I am interested in the neural bases of core cognitive processes such as language and cognitive control and how the organization of these processes changes as a result of aging and mild dementia.  We have been pursuing 4 main lines of research within these broad domains, as described on the research page.
