Medical Laboratory Science Students Win Stago CompetitionCongratulations to Medical Laboratory Science students for winning the national Start with Stago competition. CLS becomes MLSIn the fall of 2011, the Clinical Laboratory Science Program officially changed its name to Medical Laboratory Science (MLS). This name change was due to the merger of the ASCP BOR and NCA (accrediting agencies) which occurred in 2009. Alumni Inducted into CHS Hall of FameOctober 2010 - Helen Johnnita (Johnnie) Keller Miller, of the 1961 Medical Technology (now Medical Laboratory Science) class was inducted into the College of Health Science Hall of Fame. She was inducted during the Hall of Fame
and Scholarship Recognition Dinner held on October 14, 2010.
