![]() Since 2000, first-year medical students have organized and participated in every aspect of this annual one-day event providing free health care information and basic medical screenings to the growing Hispanic population of the Fayette County community. Students from the Colleges of Dentistry and Agriculture also participate in the Hispanic Health Fair. Medical students fluent in Spanish act as interpreters for the event. Programming is designed to encourage families to attend and participate in the fair. For more information on the Hispanic Health Fair, contact Shirley Tipton at (859) 323-2460 or sctipt1@email.uky.edu |
