Humanities Festival


Medical students dance at a recent Humanities Festival

Semiannually, students, faculty and staff of the Medical Center at UK showcase their talents in the performing arts in a festival of music, movement, and poetry. Inspired by Sue Fosson, former Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for the College of Medicine, the Humanities Festival bridges the various fields of work and study found in health care. It provides the performers with a welcome outlet for their creativity and the audience a delightful entertainment experience.
