OBJECTIVES:

  1. General introduction to Forensic Pathology and medicolegal death investigation
  2. Selected review of trauma pathology & forensic toxicology
  3. Observation of medicolegal laboratories

CONTENT & METHODS OF TEACHING:

  • Informal presentations/discussion with case review
  • Selected observation of autopsy (as schedule permits)
  • Tour of various forensic laboratories

REQUIREMENTS: Full-time medical Student in first or second year

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS: N/A

CREDIT HOURS: 2

MEETING DATE/TIME: At mutual convenience, 100 Sower Blvd., Suite 202, in Frankfort , KY.
Students may participate almost anytime during work day or even on the weekends.
