OBJECTIVES: The student will have the opportunity to select either of the following objectives:

  • To gain an understanding of ultrasound used for ovarian cancer screening and of associated studies related to proven efficacy and acceptance.

CONTENT & METHOD OF TEACHING:

  • Assigned reading materials
  • Mentored problem identification
  • Hands-on involvement

REQUIREMENTS: Familiarity with computers and/or molecular biology.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 5

CREDIT HOURS: 3
