OBJECTIVES: To become familiar with current concepts in Geriatric care. (1 hour credit).

CONTENT AND METHOD OF TEACHING: This elective provide a survey of geriatric care including outpatient clinic, inpatient rehabilitation, subacute care and long term care. The student will work with the physician learning current concepts in geriatric care including geriatric evaluation, successful aging interventions, and rehabilitation.

CREDIT HOURS: 1

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 8
