Federal College Work Study

Students have the opportunity to participate in the College of Medicine College Work Study (CWS) program during periods of time that they are not enrolled in the summer. Student summer employment/research opportunities are very limited due to the structure of the medical curriculum and students work an average of four-six weeks ranging from May-mid-July. Since this is a federal program, participants must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident and must have a FAFSA on file to determine eligibility. The program is coordinated between Student Financial Aid and the Office of Medical Education.
