Tuition Guarantee

In 2007, UK College of Medicine launched a tuition guarantee pilot program - making it one of four colleges in the nation to provide such an offer. The pilot program guarantees each entering class a set tuition that will remain constant for the four years they are enrolled in medical school. This is a significant step toward maintaining the affordability of a medical education.

University Guidelines for Kentucky Resident Status

Non-resident students who wish to apply for Kentucky residency status for tuition payment purposes must apply for approval through the UK Registrar Office and requires the student complete an application and provide documentation, as requested. Once the application has been reviewed and, if approved, an official notification will be sent to the College of Medicine stating that the student will be assessed resident tuition and also when the decision is effective.

For more information to determine eligibility, please visit the UK Registrar Office Residency Web page.
