Blackboard and u-connect/exchange e-mail

• When you change your u-connect password, it changes Blackboard too

To change your e-mail password

• Go to:  u-connect.uky.edu/manager/
• Default password - u$LastSixDigits of your social security number (i.e., u$123456)
• OR it could be your new UK student number (see the front of new UK ID Wildcat cards).  It is u$LastSixDigits (I.e. u$123456).
• OR your current password, if you have changed it in the past
• Click:  CHANGE PASSWORD
• New password. Must have lower case, upper case and a number.  Minimum eight characters.  Cannot be a word in the dictionary, your name or your UK ID.
• Some examples:
•  your initials and birthday (Jkm051970)
• your initials and the year (Pyw20052005)
• put a number in a word (Med6icine)

Logging into Blackboard (option 1)

• Go to: elearning.uky.edu
• Click Log In
• User Name:  ad\UK ID (or mc\UK ID). 
• UK ID = the first part of your e-mail
• use the backslash above the Enter Key
• Enter the new password you just created

Logging into Blackboard (option 2)

• Go to: myuk.uky.edu
• Enter your ID (do NOT put the ad\ or mc\)
• Enter your password
• Click Blackboard (to the left)
• Click Continue to Blackboard

To enroll yourself in a course on Blackboard:

• Click on the COURSES tab
• In the search box, search for the course name or number
• Click the ENROLL button to the right (NOT the course name)
• Click SUBMIT
