Faculty Development Opportunities

The Center for Excellence in Medical Education offers three types of workshops. These include the Faculty Development Workshop Series, Individual Workshop Sessions, and Medical Education Grand Rounds.

Faculty Development Workshop Series
The Faculty Development Series couples a variety of multi-workshop sessions with a light lunch. These workshops offer the faculty member opportunities to develop as a teacher and medical education researcher, stimulate networking, and develop community among medical educators.

Individual Workshops
Individual workshop sessions allow faculty members to spend a concentrated period of time developing specific skills related to teaching and evaluation methods.

Medical Education Grand Rounds
Medical Education Grand Rounds are monthly programs, presenting emerging issues in medical education to the entire College of Medicine and UK Healthcare community.
