Undergraduates in the B.S./B.A./M.D Accelerated Course of Study will also have many opportunities to be on the cutting edge of research. There are numerous summer research opportunities in the Department of Biology as well as the College of Medicine. For those students who want to combine their research interests with their medical careers, these research opportunities make this an ideal program for students contemplating future combined degree programs, such as the M.D./Ph.D. program.
