Medical Alumni Association

Mission

The mission of the University of Kentucky Medical Alumni Association is to foster an active, lifelong fellowship among alumni through mutual service and support with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Our vision is to model physician responsibility to medical education and service to community through collaboration.

Since its establishment in 1969, the Medical Alumni Association has been a strong advocate for the programs and people of the College of Medicine. The cornerstones of the association that guide its efforts are:

• Advocacy:
  Acting on behalf of key constituents, including alumni; medical students, house staff and their families; faculty; and other groups, in support of medical education.
• Financial Support:
  Funding medical student scholarships, projects and initiatives as well as College of Medicine programs and facility development.
• Relationship Building:
  Offering opportunities for alumni to interact and communicate in both professional and social settings.
