Financial Aid

Attracting America’s greatest students to UK means offering them competitive financial aid packages.  Available fellowships are awarded each year that include tuition plus a $10,000 stipend per year for the four medical school years.  During their graduate school years, combined degree students will receive stipends from their graduate programs to cover their living expenses.

Loans and grant funds are also available. These are awarded solely on the basis of documented financial need which is defined as the difference between the educational costs (tuition, fees, books and living expenses) for attendance at the College of Medicine and the resources available from students and their families to meet those costs. A large percentage of all loans are obtained through participating banks and other lending institutions. Loans administered through the College of Medicine vary in structure (i.e., federal, institutional, etc.) and are contingent upon annual availability of funds.
