Intro to Patient
Management

Prerequisite: There is no prerequisite for this class.
Note: Must be approved by supervisor, class must be essential to job
functions.
Access: Students must have supervisor permission to attend class
and PM access must be part of the student's job functions. Computer access (user ID
and password) to the PM program is requested for each student after successful completion of
the class.

Introduction to Sunrise
Clinical Viewer (SCV)

ACE/AIM OutPatient
Registration

Staff that need to register outpatients must take (in this order)
Note: Must be approved by supervisor, class must be essential to job
functions.
Access: Students are given access after completing the 5 day
ACE/AIM class temporarily. The access is made permanent after they have
taken the required certification test. The certification test must be taken
within 60 days of the ACE/AIM class.

RSS
Inquiry

Students must have completed the Introduction to Patient Management class or the ACE/AIM Out Patient Registration class.
Access: The RSS password is given to each student during this class if they are registered 5 days in advance.

Booking

Staff that need to book appointments must take (in this order)
Access: Students are given access after completing the 2 half day RSS Booking class. The access is made permanent after they have taken the required RSS Booking Certification class. The certification test must be taken within 60 days of the class. Students who do not pass the certification test within 60 days of the class will have their computer access to book patient appointments revoked.

Staff who are brand new to computers should take the Meet the Personal Computer and/or Keyboarding classes from Employee Learning Skills. Call 257-7911 to learn more about these self-paced exercises.
For staff who are comfortable with keyboarding and using a mouse but new to Windows, Managing your PC class is recommended as a starting point before taking classes on specific Windows-based applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

you will appreciate this class. Learn to manage, move, copy, find, and
delete files and folders using two convenient tools that are already on your PC:

Content: This class is intended to those new in Microsoft Word
and to Microsoft Applications in general. The users learn how to create, open, save,
edit, set tabs, and print a document as well as use the basic formatting options

Content: Students will learn to enhance formatting functions a like paragraph and page setup, headers and footers, endnotes, and footnotes. Other features that will be covered include; using styles, and tables.

to Excel 2007

Content: This course is a basic beginners level class
which introduces creating a worksheet, entering,
canceling, copying, moving, and formatting data. It also introduces using
auto sum and auto fill
techniques as well as printing. This class is part of Training and Development's Navigating

to PowerPoint 2007

Content: This course is an introduction to creating a PowerPoint presentation.
If you would like to keep your presentation, please bring a flash-drive with you. The class shows you what
is new in the 2007 version, creating slides with bullets, tables, charts, and graphics. You will be
able to rearrange your slides and
do slide transitions as well as animation. Various ways to print and the
slide master will be explained. This class is part of Training and Development's Navigating

Outlook 2007 Quickstart

Prerequisite: Keyboarding and mouse skills.
Access: The Department Director must complete an account
request form and send it to Computing Center on campus so that employee can get
an email account. This class is intended for those new to the Outlook
Exchange desktop (aka "client version") e-mail program. It will be
beneficial to those having Outlook setup on their own work PC. Topics covered include Outlook views, sending,
replying, and forwarding e-mail, creating signatures,
contacts, using the Global Address List, calendar, date navigator,
appointments, meetings, setting permissions, etc.

Outlook Web Access

Prerequisite: Keyboarding and mouse skills.
Access: The Department Director must complete an account request form and send it to Computing Center on campus so that employee can get an email account. Content: This class is intended for those with e-mail ids on the Exchange server who want to know how to access their e-mail on the internet. This would also be the class any staff accessing Exchange email using Internet Explorer would take. Topics covered include logging on and off your Outlook Web Access e-mail account, sending mail, creating new appointments, resetting your password, and checking available options on Outlook Web Access Exchange.
