Use this section to review many of the educational opportunities offered throughout the hospital, medical center, and university.  This site offers brief descriptions of the classes and gives you links to registrations mechanisms or other web pages managed by various entities providing the education and training.  Although many opportunities are listed here, this is NOT a totally inclusive listing of all education and training opportunities available to staff.

This site focuses on four major areas:

Computer Classes -   listing of hand-on computer classes offered by Staff Education Department, Medical Center Instructional Technology Center, Medical Center Library Training, and UK Campus Desktop Training Services.  Links are provided to each of their web pages.  Follow the directions indicated on each web site to register for any of these classes.

Hospital Education -   listing of non-computer classes offered by the University of Kentucky Staff Education Department, most of which will be held in the hospital's Learning Center.  These classes focus on content that is applicable to employees working in any department or area.  Several options for registration are give for each class.

H R Development -   listing of all major content areas of classes offered by the University's Human Resource Development office.  Links are provided to their web site with directions for registering for any of the classes.  Most of these classes are held at Scovell Hall on the main campus.  However, several are offered within the Learning Center of the hospital.

PI (Performance Improvement) -   listing of all classes offered by the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Performance Improvement.  Links are provided to their web site with directions for registering for any of their classes.  Classes are held in the SIPI office at 915 South Limestone.
