ABOUT US

Referring Clinicians

Kentucky TeleCareCommunity clinicians can refer patients to telemedicine clinics for specialty services that are not available in the community. Patients will go to the nearest telemedicine source and see the provider who will send recommendations back to the community physician. This helps keep care consistent and allows the family practitioner to stay actively involved in the care of their patients.

In many situations, the telemedicine equipment is available in the clinic where the provider works giving the option for sitting in with the patient if desired.

There are also many educational programs offered over the network for CEU credit. For information on where telemedicine sites and services see also clinical map (non-UK site); KTHN schedule (non-UK site); and services (please note that if a particular service is not listed we may still be able to assist as the network is rapidly growing).

To refer a patient into any of the clinics contact your local coordinator or the Kentucky TeleCare office at 859-257-6404.
