Kentucky Telecare

Community clinicians can refer patients to telemedicine clinics for specialty services that are not available in the community. Patients will go to the nearest telemedicine source and see the provider who will send recommendations back to the community physician. This helps keep care consistent and allows the family practitioner to stay actively involved in the care of their patients.

In many situations, the telemedicine equipment is available in the clinic where the provider works giving the option for sitting in with the patient if desired.

There are many educational programs offered on the network. Many offer free CEU credit.
