Administrative Telemedicine
Administrative telemedicine uses the videoconference network to connect clinicians and executives together for meetings, eliminating unproductive travel time. The network can reach outside the state to anywhere in the world that has videoconference technology. Examples of administrative meetings include:
1. workshops for Multiple Sclerosis patients and their families
2. Area Health Education Center (AHEC) meetings
3. weekly site coordinator meetings of the telehealth facilities
4. monthly education workgroup meetings to develop new telehealth educational offerings
5. Medicaid provider meetings.
