University of Kentucky’s Post Exposure Prophylaxis:
  1. 2 Drug Regimen: 3 days of Combivir twice daily (This is a starter pack. Please make an appointment with an Infectious Disease physician for follow up)
  2. 3 Drug Regimen: 3 days of Combivir twice daily plus Viracept 1250mg twice daily. (This is a starter pack. Please make an appointment with an Infectious Disease physician for follow up)

    The determination of use of the 2 Drug or 3 Drug regimen is based on assessment of risk.
