KIPRC is a Total Worker Health Affiliate. The KOSHS Program encourages policies, programs, and practices that integrate protection from work-related safety and health hazards with the promotion of injury and illness prevention strategies to increase overall worker well-being. KOSHS is dedicated to the belief that overall worker well-being, including mental and physical health, directly contributes to injury risk within the workplace.

It’s great to see recognition of the organization of work as a target of intervention for job stress. Glorian Sorensen, director of our TWH Center of Excellence at Harvard participated in the forum, which also included a video with the recognizable voice of Dr. Howard.
  • The National Safety Council released survey results in June about workers’ perceptions about safety, finding that there is still much more that needs to be done to prioritize injury prevention.
