General Dentistry
The Kentucky General Practice Clinic is comprised of 9 chairs, and is operated by 2 full-time faculty, 3 hygienists, and 4 Residents. A full array of general dental services is offered, including preventative care, dental fillings, crowns, bridges, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, periodontal services, root canals, extractions and minor oral surgical procedures, and restoration of dental implants. Nitrous oxide and I.V. conscious sedation are available, along with treatment under general anesthesia in the operating room for those with special needs. The clinic is supported by a full complement of staffing, including in-house laboratory services. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Call (859) 323-5562 for appointments.
Pediatric Dentistry
The Pediatric Dental Clinic, located in Kentucky Clinic Dentistry, is a full service seven-chair clinic, which offers dental treatments for all children from birth through 18 years of age. Eight advanced education residents, along with three Board Certified Pediatric Dentistry attendings, provide all facets of dental care for the child patient. Conscious sedation in the forms of oral, IM, and IV sedation are available, along with treatment in the operating room under general anesthesia for those with special needs. Orthodontics
Kentucky Clinic Orthodontics is comprised of 3 chairs, and is operated by 3 faculty, 3 orthodontic assistants, and a front office receptionist / financial counselor. We offer a full complement of orthodontic services, including comprehensive orthodontics for adolescents and adults, selective early treatment for pre-adolescent children, orthognathic surgery and management of patients with developmental problems such as cleft lip and palate. We also offer interdisciplinary management of occlusal problems in adults who require services that may include prosthetic and restorative care, dental implants, and periodontal treatment. Therapy is delivered through the use of traditional braces (bonded and banded), functional appliances, and more recently, on a selective basis, Invisalign appliances. Initial screening appointment requires no fee. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
