Goals

The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research Skills has the following goals:

• ¤ To develop clinician-scientists in the areas of experimental therapeutics and translational research
• ¤ To enhance the research environment to support outstanding clinical research related to therapeutics and translational research, focusing on enhancement of current areas of research expertise at the University of Kentucky. These areas include:
• » Cardiovascular/Nutrition
• » Aging/Neurosciences
• » Infectious Disease/Immunology
• ¤ To encourage clinical research collaboration between faculty members and scholars at the University of Kentucky.
