| This position is with the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Division and will participate in tumor biomarker discovery and tumor biology/immunobiology with primary projects focus on biomarkers and novel diagnostic assays for lung cancer.Primary responsibilities include: perform experiments as directed from supervisor involving assays that identify and measure tumor biomarkers in biological samples from cancer patients; implement and adapt established laboratory protocols; develop new methodology for measuring antibodies and protein in biological samples; catalog inventories of biological samples; organize and maintain large amounts of collected data; manage and process data as part of routine experimental analysis; perform laboratory maintenance including cleanliness and organization of lab; safety and other compliance with other institutional regulations; and order laboratory supplies. |
