Save the Date: 5th International Ankle Symposium
Congratulations to Jonah Lee, PhD, postdoctoral scholar in the Peterson
Lab, who was awarded just over $48,000 from the American Federation for Aging
Research (AFAR). The project, titled “The role of satellite cells in
aged-skeletal muscle maintenance and hypertrophy,” will begin July 1, 2012 for

Pat McKeon Receives NATA Research & Foundation AwardCongratulations to Pat McKeon for receiving the 2012 New Investigator Award from the National Athletic Trainers' Association Research & Education Foundation. This award recognizes Dr. McKeon, while early in his research career, for having an outstanding track record and likely to continue to make significant contributions to the athletic training body of knowledge. Dr. McKeon will be further recognized during the Distinguished Scholars Presentation at the NATA Annual Meeting in June. Back to TopVrushali Angadi, Ph.D. Wins Markey Cancer Research Day AwardCongratulations to Vrushali Angadi, Ph.D., who is a student in the Rehabilitation Sciences Doctoral Program, for winning first place during the Markey Cancer Research Day for a poster for Clinical and Translational Research.
