Effgen, Myer and PT Alumni Published in Physical Therapy

New Hospital Pavilion Open House

All faculty and staff are invited to an open house of the new Chandler Hospital pavilion, available all day today. A community open house will be held tomorrow, Saturday, May 14, with the pavilion dedication scheduled for Sunday, May 15.

Staff Council Nominations

Three current staff council member’s terms will end on June 30, 2011. Therefore, nominations for staff members to fill these vacant spots are now being accepted.

Download the nomination ballot linked below, which lists all eligible staff and place a mark in the box next to the individual(s) names you would like to nominate for the positions.

Each staff member is allowed to select three people and self-nominations are allowed. Please note that this a 3-year term and all staff council members must be full time employees of the College.

Please submit all ballots to Meredith Houlihan either by e-mail (mclove2@uky.edu) or in hardcopy format to her office in Room 120.

Reds Tickets for Sale

The Ambassadors are selling tickets to the August 8 (Monday) Reds vs. Rockies game in Cincinnati as a fundraiser. The game begins at 7:10 p.m.

The tickets are limited in amount, so those interested should act now. Price details are listed below:

• 10 tickets are for the sun/moon deck. $20 each (regular price is $25)
• 20 tickets are for the infield box. $35 each (normally $45)

If you plan to purchase a ticket and are also interested in bus transportation for the group attending, please mention your interest at time of purchase so that this option can be looked into further.
