CPH Hall of Fame Nominations
The University of Kentucky College of Public Health Hall of Fame was established
in 2004 to honor persons who, over their lifetime, have made exceptional
contributions to the health and welfare of citizens in the Commonwealth, our
Nation, and/or the world.
Since 2004, a total of 47 outstanding persons have been
inducted into the College’s Hall of Fame. On behalf of our College, the
Hall of Fame Selection Committee at this time cordially invites nominations for
consideration in the 2014 review process.
Nomination Form specifies the selection criteria and eligibility for this
lifetime achievement award. Using this format, nominations for 2014 awards
should be submitted by mail, email, or fax on or before May 2, 2014.
As a sponsor of the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross 2014 Heroes Campaign, UK HealthCare has the opportunity to nominate an individual for Hero of the Year. The requirements are simple: The person needs to be making a positive impact in his or her community by helping/supporting those facing challenges or who are less fortunate. UK HealthCare’s nominees in 2013 and 2012 were both honored with the Hero of the Year title from a pool of incredibly generous and caring individuals. UK HealthCare is full of heroes, employees who not only help the community through their daily work providing care here, but who extend that spirit into their personal lives to make a difference for others in the community. Please send any suggestions for a colleague at CHS who fits this description to Melanie Sparks. The deadline for submitting a nominee is April 1.Back to TopDean Search - Leadership ProfileBack to TopEducational Enhancement GrantsBack to Top
