 Granstmanship Presentations to Resume in September

The CHS Grantsmanship Program resumes in September and will be held on the third Friday of each month from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Note – there will not be an August presentation. Gilson Capilouto, PhD is scheduled as presenter on 9/20 (Friday) from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in CTW 405. Specific aims for an upcoming NIH-R21 proposal will be discussed. See you then!

PAEABradford Schwarz, MS, PA-C recently served as a nationally selected faculty member for the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA). During the 2013 New Program Directors Retreat in Washington D.C., held July 26-30, Schwarz helped instruct 26 newly appointed PA Program Directors. The rigorous 5-day training course shows new program directors how to operate and survive in this fast-paced, demanding career field.

Singletary Signature Series Tickets Now on Sale

Pink MartiniThe University of Kentucky Singletary Center for the Arts kicks off its 2013-14 Singletary Signature Series with up-and-coming soul singer Mayer Hawthorne in a season that also includes performances by icons in tap, jazz and classical music. All tickets to the events featuring Hawthorne, Savion Glover, Arturo Sandoval, Lang Lang and Pink Martini went on sale Aug 1. Read the UKNOW article.
