perhaps you can squeeze in a half-day or so to visit one of UK’s education
abroad programs. Education Abroad maintains a small fund to encourage and
support UK faculty and staff members to conduct brief site visits to our
established education abroad programs. Knowing that UK faculty and staff members
often travel abroad, the intent of the grant is to cover additional expenses
associated with conducting a site visit (i.e., housing, meals, local
transportation). To learn more about this funding opportunity and to
submit a proposal online, see:

Markey Receives NCI Designation The UK Markey Cancer Center has earned National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation. This is a distinction that signifies national excellence in clinical care and cancer research. Markey is the only NCI-designated cancer center in Kentucky and one of only a handful in the nation. To earn this designation, the center had to pass a rigorous review process. For more info, click here.
