CHS Research Award
The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) met on Feb. 2 to vote for the CHS Research Award recipient from the nominees provided. Although a single award is typically given each year in one of the two categories (Distinguished Research Award and Young Investigator Award), two candidates are so exceptional, the RAC voted to give two research awards.
Congratulations to Pat Kitzman, Ph.D., recipient of the Distinguished Research Award and also Rita Patel, Ph.D., recipient of the Young Investigator Award.Back to Top
Physical Therapy Career Fair is Today
The Division of Physical Therapy will be hosting its annual PT Career Fair today, Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. – noon throughout the first two floors of the Wethington Building. This will be followed by afternoon interviews for the third year PT students.
We anticipate 160 PT students will participate in the morning Fair and nearly 60 in interviews.Back to Top

More than $150,000 in scholarships are available for students interested in education abroad opportunities. Individual awards range from $750 to $1,500. UK Libraries will be assessing service quality by asking faculty and students to complete the national LibQUAL survey from February 14-28. Data from the survey will help UK Libraries understand faculty and student expectations and perceptions of library service.
A sample of faculty and students will receive an e-mail message (via UK e-mail) with a link to the survey. This year’s shortened version of the survey, LibQUAL Lite, will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your participation is appreciated, and undergraduate and graduate students who complete the survey are entered in a drawing to win a free iPad.Back to Top
