Levi Procter, M.D., General Surgery, has been selected as our Resident of the Month for April 2007.  Nominated by two individuals at UK, they cited, amongst other things, the following:  “He keeps the nurses well informed when he is on the floor.  “Today I received an excellent discharge order on Mr. ____; it was very thorough, including diet, activity, shower, follow-up. He wrote it out very detailed.  If all d/cs were that clear the whole process would go much easier.”  “Very kind and caring towards patients – takes time to explain and answer their questions.”  “Very much a team player – communicates and updates nurses on plans.”  And, “Always treats nurses with respect.”
