Faculty Support

Your gifts may be used to support faculty members by helping to establish endowed chairs, professorships and lectureships.

An endowed chair can be established with a minimum gift of $1 million. Income from the gift will be used for both salary and other professional support of the holder of the chair, including assistance for research. An endowed professorship can be established with a minimum gift of $100,000. Income from the gift will be used primarily to supplement the salary of the holder of the professorship. An endowed lectureship can be established with a contribution ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. Lectureships are usually for visiting scholars during a temporary residence at the Medical Center.
