An outright gift is just what its name implies: a gift transferred immediately from the donor to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. It can include cash, checks, money orders, stocks, bonds, real estate, tangible personal property or gifts-in-kind.

Each year, thousands of alumni, friends, corporations and foundations contribute to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. 

The most common gifts made to the UK Chandler Medical Center are outright gifts of cash or other assets to support education, health care and research. These gifts are fully deductible for federal income tax purposes.
