Tenzin Wangmo is interested in studying elders who have experienced the trauma associated with genocide, wars, and natural disasters in order to better understand the effects these events have on aging. Her goal is to develop interventions that will help them resolve issues associated with the past traumas and conflicts. She is currently studying Tibetan aging and aging in India. Her other interests include Human Rights, aging in Diaspora, Culture, and ethnic aging. She participated in the March of Hope and Remembrance (Poland), Humanity in Action Program (Netherlands), and the Caux Scholar’s Program (Switzerland).
