Courtney’s research interests are in cognitive aging. She has conducted research comparing younger and older adults’ cognitive abilities, specifically associative and inductive reasoning, using a discrimination learning task. She also has experience administering other commonly used cognitive tests. Courtney’s current research interests involve real-life decisions that older adults make and how age-related changes in the brain affect decision making.
