Niki Munk’s research interests focus on aging and the benefits of massage therapy on older adults’ health. Currently, Niki is focusing her studies on the biology of aging and researching the available literature on the affect of massage on the aging process. In the near future she would like to study the effects of increasing availability of massage for elders in senior centers and living facilities on well being. She is licensed massage therapist in Kentucky and works with older adults in her practice.
