Jennifer has extensive biomedical laboratory work experience at the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging where she has engaged in research on Alzheimer's disease and normal aging involving synaptic analysis. She has also worked with the B.R.A.I.N.S. program evaluating individuals in the Sanders-Brown control group. She has evaluated cognitive changes in individuals at the Breckinridge, Almost Family Day Center, and in the community. Her primary areas of interest are psychopharmocology research in Alzheimer's disease in addition to cognitive retraining methods for individuals with early probable Alzheimer’s disease. She is also interested in the effects of long-term NSAID use on memory. Her dissertation focuses on the cognitive, physical, and perceptual outcomes after spaced retrieval and errorless learning training in early probable Alzheimer's disease.
