Hepatology

The Division's longstanding expertise in hepatology has been augmented by the activation of the University's liver transplant program since 1995 . This provides exceptionally broad exposure in both research and clinical care arenas. Specialized procedures relative to hepatology, including therapeutic biliary endoscopy and laparoscopy, are available; and numerous ongoing research protocols focus on the study of liver disease.
